My stay at Microtel Inn & Suites was delightful! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, and the bed was so comfortable that I slept like a baby. The location is convenient, especially if you’re visiting the University of Alabama. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cozy and budget-friendly stay.
The room was newly remodeled, clean and nice. They are very close to the University. The management staff works hard to make sure that the guests have a great experience. Will stay again definitely.
Left another hotel & thankfully came here. WORLD of difference!! The rooms were very clean, nicely set up with a great cooling AC & mini fridge. The downstairs desk clerk was very polite and nice. They also had a great complimentary breakfast of coffee, juice, muffins, cereal, scrambled eggs and sausage links. Outside was well lit with an area to walk my chihuahua too. If you want a great nights sleep - come here!
great price and the rooms are always clean. free breakfast and good coffee. the front desk folks are always friendly. this is our hotel of choice due to its location and being a few minutes from family too.
The rooms are great and complimentary breakfast is ok. The only problem I have is that the room I had didn't have a mini fridge or ice bucket. Don't be like me ask if the rooms have them because I didn't see an ice machine either. Otherwise a great place that's safe and secure.
This was right off University area, thank goodness for GPS. Was a little hard to find. Getting back on the freeway was fun, as in not right off freeway. But rooms were really clean and YES they do allow Pets. Mine is Service animal but they do allow regular pets too.
The hotel wasn't great, people were smoking in the rooms, there was a smell of old food in the rooms, and the beds were SO small, but Peter the receptionist was phenomenal! I'm not super likely to come back to this hotel specifically, but if I do, Peter is why!
Excellent quality handicapped room and service. I was abled to get around great. My only wish was that the bed was a few inches shorter. A lower mattress is easier to get in and out of bed. Someone with paralyzed or missing legs would struggle to get in the bed.
